The THINK Method Worksheet Is FINALLY Here

I want to talk to you about something that’s a new resource—something you can use to help you lead your family.

It’s The THINK Method of Biblical Study Worksheet.

What is the THINK Method Worksheet?

The THINK Method Worksheet is a resource that, until very recently, I didn’t even have. And honestly, I can’t believe I didn’t.

A member of the Think Squad—Tim Larson—emailed me and asked, “Is there a THINK Method worksheet I can use on a daily basis to study my Bible?”

And I thought… man, how do I not have a Bible study worksheet? That’s insane.

So I got to work. And now it’s here.

This worksheet is based on The THINK Method, our Bible study method at The Think Institute. It’s a biblical approach to studying Scripture, based directly on 2 Timothy 3:16–17:

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…”

Those four purposes became the foundation of the THINK acronym:

T – Teaching

What is the passage about?
What’s the main point—the big idea?
This is your thesis if you’re writing, your big idea if you’re preaching.

H – Heart

How is the passage rebuking you?
This is God’s diagnosis of your heart—your pride, your fear, your sin.

I – Illumination

How does this passage point to Jesus and the Gospel?
Not just moralism. Illumination is about seeing the gospel light: the atoning death of Jesus Christ for your sin and the righteousness he gives.

N – Now What?

How can you apply this truth to every sphere of life—your family, your work, your church, your civic life?

K – Knowledge Needed

What’s next?
What questions do you still have? Where is God calling you to go deeper?

This worksheet walks you through all of that.

It begins with prayer, gives space for initial observations, then takes you through the THINK method step by step. At the bottom, there are links to visit the Think Institute website, join the movement, and support the mission.
