The Challenge of Christian Political Engagment

If you’re a follower of Jesus, you have a king in Heaven; His kingdom is secure, and it will last forever. This is an important reality to keep in mind. Because of this, however, it can be tempting to ignore all earthly political issues as unimportant. Is this the correct posture for Christians? While we shouldn’t let politics dominate our lives, is there a proper way of engaging in the political realm, productively and biblically, without sacrificing our Christian integrity? And how do we lead our families into the sphere of politics (without stressing out our wives and kids, preferably)?
