How to Talk About Apologetics With Your Kids

Whether or not we want to think about it, we all know that, at some point, we're going to have to have "the talk" with our kids. No, not *that* talk. The Apologetics Talk. The fact is, we're bringing our kids up in a world that is hostile to God and biblical truth, and we know we need to prepare our children to face it confidently. And getting started can be feel like an impossible task.

Introducing your kids to apologetics doesn't have to be impossible. And you don't have to throw your kids head-first into the deep end of apologetics either. They don't need to know about metaphysics, the existential problem of evil, and the problem of Divine Hiddenness right now. Instead, there are simple steps you can take to introduce the concept of apologetics to your children now, to form a foundation you can build upon later.

In this episode of the Think Podcast, we'll be talking about five simple steps for introducing your kids to apologetics, with Think Institute founder Joel Settecase. Joel is a Christian apologist and the author of Catakids! The New Covenant Catechism for Little Ones, and has been working in ministry and education for over 12 years.

Specifically, you'll learn these five steps:

1. Talk about the Bible.

2. Talk about the Gospel.

3. Talk about Unbelief.

4. Talk about Apologetics.

5. Bring it back to the Gospel.
