8 Things Muslims Need To Know About Christianity (Friday Fireside)
This is based on a presentation I gave to a class of Muslim students in 2018.
Christianity is a story, a religion, and a relationship.
The Christian story of God includes many names you recognize and points to Jesus (Isa).
God created things good and with a purpose..
Man’s sin made things wrong.
Jesus is the necessary sacrifice to make things right.
Christians view the Day of Judgment with hope.
You can have a relationship with God through Jesus.
The Gospel is the central message of Christianity.
After I presented this to a class of Muslim freshmen last year, I was asked, “Why are you not a Muslim?” The answer: because the Bible is true. And even Muhammad said the people of the Gospel should judge by the Gospel.
We have a much more certain knowledge of the Bible than many realize. The evidence is clear, to the point of being conclusive proof. Christianity is true. The Gospel is our hope--our only hope. And that means Islam is false.
